Hi there!

  • Able Allies Kids OT
  • Occupational Therapy is interested in how children spend their time and what is meaningful for them. This includes all the things we need and want to do in daily life including:

  • looking after ourselves (self-care),
  • play & work (productivity), as well as,
  • leisure and rest.

  • We can help with maximising participation in: learning, school activities, leisure, play, dressing, toileting, eating, sleep and socialising and much more!!

What is OT..?

  • We start by listening.

How we can help.

  • Friendly, experienced and collaborative Occupational Therapy tailored to the needs of your family.
  • Assessment and intervention for babies, toddlers, children and teenagers (0-18 years) experiencing challenges with daily occupations
  • An option of therapy in a well-equipped clinic environment co-located with Think Play Say Speech Pathology
  • An option of therapy in the natural contexts that your child spends their time in such as home, daycare and school

  • Sarah brings a huge amount of experience and a love of seeing children and families thrive to her service provision. For over 18 years she has been supporting children and families in a variety of hospital and community settings.

  • She loves finding solutions to tricky problems that are easy for families to implement and enable kids to participate in what matters most to them.

Sarah has a particular interest in:

  • Supporting children to participate in daily living activities (loves to chat poos and wees),
  • Helping babies, toddlers and children who are at the start of their journey to understand their developmental and disability needs,
  • Seeing parents equipped to find what works for their particular child and family,
  • Building confident kids who value their strengths and can advocate for their needs.

  • Sarah is currently living her tree change life in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland with her husband and two kids. She loves spending time at the beach and in nature, baking and hanging out with family and friends.
